古い茶色のボトル。陶製インク壺です。
明治中期〜大正期ごろのものと思います。
当時は保存性・遮光性に優れた陶器がインク容器としても実用的だったようですが、
マットで焼締のような質感やろくろ跡、実用品ならではのシンプルさとデザインは、無骨で渋く海外でも人気があるようです。

「SHINOZAKI’S / TOKYO / CHAMPION INK」の刻印が入っていて、
篠崎インクの製造していたチャンピオンインクのボトルです。
欠けや傷はありません。色も褪せておらず状態はかなりいいと思います。

質感は違いますが、OLD BOTTLE(L)と(M)と並べて飾るとバランスがよく、おすすめです。

Antique brown ceramic ink bottle, dating from the mid-Meiji to Taisho period.
At the time, ceramic vessels were practical for ink storage due to their durability and light-blocking qualities.

The matte, high-fired texture, visible wheel marks, and utilitarian simplicity give it a rugged, understated character that is popular overseas.
Stamped “SHINOZAKI’S / TOKYO / CHAMPION INK”, this bottle was made for Champion Ink by Shinozaki Ink.

No chips or cracks; the color remains unfaded and in excellent condition.
Looks especially good displayed alongside other old bottles in different sizes.
